More than 15 years ago, we set up a little table at the Raleigh Farmers Market selling starter plants. From that modest beginning, our vision took root. Zina, who grew up in the country where her family raised pigs and tended gardens, always felt a deep connection to the land. Joe, ever the builder and grower, brought that dream to life — one fence post, one pasture, one season at a time.

Today, our pastures and woodlands are home to Jersey and Angus cows, Katahdin sheep, Mini Nubian and Nigerian Dwarf goats, Kune Kune and Idaho Pasture pigs, Guinea Hens, Beltsville Small White and Narragansett turkeys, free-range chickens, and colony-raised New Zealand rabbits. We also grow heirloom vegetables and medicinal herbs.

Our animals are raised naturally — without antibiotics, hormones, or animal by-products. We're not certified organic, but our commitment to sustainability, animal welfare, and respect for the land runs deep.
